Motorist's death blamed on heart disease

SWANTON - The death of a motorist whose pickup truck crashed into a tree yesterday morning about a mile south of Swanton has been ruled natural due to heart disease, authorities said.

The northbound vehicle of Robert Eischen, Jr., 47, of Swanton, went off Fulton County Road 1-2 at Fulton County Road F about 5:20 a.m., according to troopers at the Toledo post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

No one else was in the car, and no other vehicles were involved, troopers said.

An autopsy was performed by the Lucas County coroner's office.
