Clues sought in church theft

Fulton County authorities are seeking help in solving the theft of religious items from a Lyons, Ohio, church last month.

On June 13, officials at Our Lady of Fatima Church reported the theft of a gold chalice about 13 inches tall and valued at about $2,000.

Also reported stolen was a 21-inch tall gold baroque monstrance, a vessel used to hold Communion wafers, that was valued at more than $9,300.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Fulton County Crimestopper program at 1-800-255-1122.
