Load of cement blocks topples; motorist cited

A Curtice woman was cited yesterday after a trailer filled with 80 cement blocks rolled over on eastbound I-475, near southbound I-75, police said.

Tonya L. Myrice, 32, was cited for failure to control and unsafe vehicle after the 11:35 a.m. accident. No one was hurt.

Police said she was in the left lane driving a pickup that was towing the trailer containing the cement blocks.

The hitch broke and the trailer rolled over, spilling the blocks on the highway. The pickup stopped on a guardrail, police said.

The Ohio Department of Transportation cleared the debris, police said.
