Toledo worker injured in Fremont-area fall

FREMONT - A construction worker from Toledo was hurt yesterday when he fell about 25 feet from the roof of a Peebles store being built north of Fremont, authorities said.

Neil Szenderski, 30, and another worker for Davidson-Brown Inc. of Sylvania were installing metal sections for a roof atop the store on State Rt. 53 about 8 a.m. when Mr. Szenderski fell. He landed in a gravel-covered area and suffered a cut on the back of his head and undetermined back injuries.

Mr. Szenderski was in serious condition last night at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
