Maumee motorcyclist dies from crash injuries

A Maumee man died yesterday and his 17-year-old daughter remained hospitalized in serious condition a day after their motorcycle struck an oncoming car that made a left turn in front of them in southwest Toledo, authorities said.

George Tracy, 44, of 2771 Pine Trace Dr., was pronounced dead at 7:59 a.m. yesterday in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

His daughter, Tiffany, was admitted to Medical College of Ohio Hospitals.

Mr. Tracy was northbound in the 8000 block of Holland-Sylvania Road about 10 p.m. Thursday when a southbound car driven by Brandon Rosebrook, of Hamler, Ohio, collided with the motorcycle.

Neither of the Tracys was wearing a helmet, authorities said.
