Pemberville woman hurt

LUCKEY - A Pemberville, Ohio, woman was hurt seriously yesterday when a pickup ran a stop sign and hit her minivan at Luckey Road and State Rt. 582 in Wood County, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Kathryn Evans, 48, was taken by air ambulance to Medical College of Ohio Hospitals, where she was in serious condition.

Ms. Evans was northbound on Luckey about 3:45 p.m. when the truck, driven eastbound on Route 582 by John Gray, 57, of Millbury, struck Ms. Evans' van, troopers said.

Mr. Gray was cited for failure to yield, troopers said.
