A Wisconsin man died after a crash on the Ohio Turnpike in Williams County yesterday, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Edward Lichner, 55, of Waupaca, Wis., died in the hospital in Montpelier. Mr. Lichner was westbound in Northwest Township when his pickup went into the median. He came back onto the road and hit a tractor-trailer driven by Roger Lockhart, 54, of Maumee, who was not injured.

Eric Margarella, 17, of Wood Dale, Ill., a passenger in Mr. Lichner's vehicle, suffered minor injuries, troopers said.
