4 area men are among state patrol graduates

COLUMBUS - Four northwest Ohioans were among 46 new Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers sworn in Friday during a patrol academy graduation ceremony.

Daniel H. Jesse of Tiffin; Brian M. Snyder of Stony Ridge, and Scott A. Gonzales and Thomas J. Vaculik, both of Toledo, and their classmates are scheduled to report to their new posts tomorrow to begin field training after completing 25 weeks of classroom work and test-track driving instruction at the Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy in London, Ohio.

During their first 60 days, the troopers will be assigned to veteran troopers for guidance during their training.
