NEW RIEGEL, Ohio - Seneca County will receive a $500,000 state grant to help a New Riegel meat processor expand its operations, the Ohio Department of Development has announced.
Farmland Foods will use the money to install more than 50,000 feet of sewer lines as part of a project connecting New Riegel to Fostoria's sewage treatment system.
Farmland employs about 220 people. Bids for the project are expected to be opened next spring.
