Curtice resident wins $100,000 lottery prize

William Shanteau of Curtice scratched the right combination from the Ohio Lottery's $20 Season's Greetings instant game to win a top $100,000 prize, lottery officials said Friday.

Mr. Shanteau will receive a lump-sum check of $71,500, after 28.5 percent mandatory federal and state tax is deducted. He bought the ticket at Shirley's Carryout, Curtice.
