Offices of the city of Toledo and the cities of Maumee, Perrysburg, Rossford, and Sylvania will be closed today for the New Year holiday. Northwood and Oregon city offices will also be closed today.
Ottawa Hills offices will close at noon today and reopen Tuesday.
Most Lucas County offices are closed today. Auto title offices are closed today.
Federal and state offices are closed today.
The holiday schedules of a list of select services follow:
Most banks, financial institutions, and banking centers will have regular hours today. Fifth Third Bank Mart locations in Kroger stores will close at 6 p.m. today.
Sky Bank centers, including the center in Westfield Shoppingtown Franklin Park, will close at 4 p.m. today.
All banks will be closed tomorrow.
Malls and shopping centers will have shorter hours today and tomorrow, closing at 5 and 6 p.m. respectively. Individual stores may have separate hours.
There will be no mail delivery or mail collection tomorrow and no window services at the Main Post Office or any of the classified stations or branches.
The Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit will be closed today and Saturday. Express Mail will be delivered from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.
Toledo Edison's office and phone service and Columbia Gas' phone center will be closed today and tomorrow. Only emergency calls will be taken.
Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority buses will operate on a regular no-school schedule today.
Trash pickup will be on a regular schedule for Toledo and outlying areas today.
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library and all branches will close from 5:30 p.m. today through tomorrow.
The Main, Sanger, and Heatherdowns branches will be open from 1 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Metered downtown parking will not be free today.
