The Toledo Zoo hosted its 5th annual Ice Fest last weekend when professional, amateur and high school ice carvers created more than 150 sculptures from 300-pound blocks of ice. The winter festival kicks off "Frozentoesen," the zoo's winter season through February, which this year features movies on Saturdays and Sundays in the Indoor Theatre; Vineyard Adventure wine tasting events for adults, and other events. Brad Teaderman, of Perrysburg, works on his sculpture of a maiden on Saturday with a chain saw.
