Wood County pushes paper-recycling effort

BOWLING GREEN - The Wood County Solid Waste District is asking residents to clean out their offices and recycle paper rather than send it to a landfill.

The district is sponsoring "Clean Your Files Day" April 18-22 as part of the U.S. Conference of Mayors' recycling-at-work campaign.

Office paper and other recyclable materials may be dropped off 24 hours a day at the Bowling Green Recycling Center on North College Drive. Deskside recycling bins also are available for businesses interested in participating in "Clean Your Files Day" or starting an office recycling program.
