FREMONT - Two programs that help residents pay home heating costs still have funds available, even with the start of spring, according to the WSOS Community Action Commission.
Applications for the Home Energy Assistance Program, which were to be cut off March 31, will be accepted by WSOS through May 31 as long as funds last.
WSOS also has assistance available through the Sandusky County Emergency Food and Shelter Program to help financially strapped residents with utility bills.
