Event closing portion of Jackson Street tomorrow

Preparations for Mercy Children's Hospital's "Pinwheels for Prevention" event next week will close part of Jackson Street for five hours tomorrow, city officials announced.

From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., westbound Jackson will be closed between Huron and Erie streets, except for parking vehicles associated with the work. No detour route will be posted.
