2 injured, 1 critically in motorcycle wreck

DEFIANCE Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon in Paulding County, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol s Van Wert post.

Ronald Laws, 62, of Defiance, driver of the motorcycle, was in critical condition at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind. His wife, Kathleen, 60, a passenger, was in fair condition.

The motorcycle was southbound on State Rt. 111 near State Rt. 637, several miles south of Defiance, at 12.05 p.m. when the motorcycle struck the guardrail of a bridge over the Auglaize River.

Mrs. Laws was riding in the motorcycle s sidecar, troopers said.
