Excavations yesterday at the former Miami Children's Home in Maumee found more human remains, bringing the total of gravesites to 11 bodies.
Further excavation work is scheduled for today.
The remains, those of adults and infants, are being removed carefully and taken to the Lucas County coroner's office, Maumee Mayor Tim Wagener said.
An upscale residential development called Riverside Commons is scheduled to be built at the site. Construction crews uncovered the first human remains on April 14.
