Passengers boarding American Eagle s first departing flight from Toledo Express Airport to Dallas-Fort Worth will be getting a free lunch tomorrow, courtesy of the airline and the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority.
The port authority is planning a ceremony at the airport to mark the start-up of service to the Texas airport that its marketing surveys have identified as a popular destination for Toledo travelers, especially auto industry business people traveling to plants in the Lone Star State.
The daily flight from Dallas is scheduled to arrive in Toledo at 1:13 p.m., with the plane then heading back to Dallas at 1:52 p.m. Scheduled flight time is about 2 hours.
