CELEBRATING FLAG DAY

Cyndi Caron gets a big kiss from her 3-year-old son, Tristin, as they listen to the Toledo Interfaith Mass Choir perform patriotic songs at a Flag Day event at the Lucas County Recreation Center. Flag Day is celebrated on June 14 and marks the day in 1777 when the Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States.
