Firehouses will accept tattered American flags
Anyone with worn and tattered American flags can leave them at a Toledo fire station to ensure proper disposal, Fire Chief Michael Bell said yesterday.
The flags will be taken to an American Legion post, where members will destroy them during a dignified ceremony.
