Several streets in East Toledo's Birmingham neighborhood will be closed Sunday for the Birmingham Festival, and parking will be restricted as well.
From 7 a.m. until 10 p.m., the following streets will be closed with no parking allowed: Consaul Street between Front and Woodford streets; Bakewell Street between Consaul and Bogar streets; Bogar between Bakewell and Caledonia streets; Esther Street between Burr and Front streets, and Caledonia between Consaul and Bogar.
Also, Burr will be closed between Consaul and Esther with no parking on the north side, Milford Avenue will be closed between Consaul and Minerva Street, and Magyar Street will be closed from Consaul to its southern end. Consaul also will be closed Saturday evening between Front and Woodford for the annual Waiters Race associated with the festival.
