FREMONT The WSOS Community Action Commission will begin assisting low-income residents of Wood, Sandusky, Ottawa, and Seneca counties with their home-heating bills on Nov. 1.
The agency provides cold-weather heating aid through two programs. One, the Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program, requires an applicant to have a disconnect notice from a utility or less than a 10-day supply of bulk fuel.
The Home Energy Assistance Program provides aid to residents who don t have an emergency but still need help paying their heating bills. More information is available at www.wsos.org.
