Preparations for Children's Wonderland, an annual attraction at the Lucas County Recreation Center in Maumee that features mechanical characters in holiday scenes, are under way.
The county commissioners yesterday decided that the exhibit will run from Nov. 25 through New Year's Eve. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
The event will be closed Christmas Day.
Also approved were the admission prices: $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for children, and free for children 2 years and under. Group rates also were approved.
New this year is free admission for members of military families who provide proper identification.
