Defiance man is killed in Paulding County crash

JUNCTION, Ohio A Defiance man died yesterday when his car ran off the road and hit several trees, the Paulding County Sheriff s Office reported.

The time of the accident that killed Paul Costilla, 26, is unknown; the wreck was discovered at 7:23 a.m., deputies said. The crash occurred on the east side of County Road 179 at Eagle Creek, about a mile north of State Rt. 637. Mr. Costilla was driving south on County Road 179 when his car veered off the right side of the road, then went back across the road to the left. The car went down an embankment, hit several trees, and rolled onto its roof, coming to rest in Eagle Creek.

The body was taken to the Lucas County coroner s office for an autopsy, the sheriff s office said.
