MARBLEHEAD, Ohio A 38-year-old Marblehead man was in serious condition last night in a Toledo hospital after he was injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday night in Ottawa County.
Sonya Cortez, 31, was stopped on State Rt. 163 in Danbury Township, two miles west of here, at 5:36 p.m. while attempting to turn into a private driveway when her vehicle was struck in the rear by a car driven by Ronald Wright, also of Marblehead, Ohio Highway Patrol troopers said.
Mr. Wright, who was not wearing a safety belt and was trapped inside his car, was flown by helicopter to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, where a spokesman said he was in serious condition last night.
Ms. Cortez was treated at the scene.
