Perrysburg city council last night unanimously approved about $735,000 in contracts for the next section of the Cherry Street sewer separation project.
Council awarded Gleason Construction Co. of Springfield Township $635,504 for construction work and Arcadis FPS, of Toledo $100,000 for construction engineering and project representation.
In related business, council approved paying Clearwater Oil and Gas $18,500 for sealing an old oil well shaft found recently during the current phase of the sewer project.
The city is working with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to split the cost.
