SANDUSKY Preliminary plans for the Sandusky area s fourth indoor water park have been approved by the Erie Regional Planning Commission.
The panel gave its initial OK Thursday night to the first phase of the $96 million Coyote Falls resort, which will include 347 hotel rooms and a 65,000-square-foot water park with tube slides and other rides.
Dial Family Resorts of Omaha hopes to begin construction late this summer on a 49-acre site on U.S. 250 in Perkins Township and have the resort open by early 2009.
