Worker hurt at Middleton Township business

BOWLING GREEN - An employee of Principle Business Enterprises was hurt yesterday when a forklift bumped a cart she was pushing in a warehouse area, pushing her against a warehouse rack.

Mike Kirby, the company's chief financial officer, said the worker was not hurt seriously but was taken to St. Luke's Hospital for X-rays. He said she and the forklift operator would be tested for drug use as part of an internal investigation of the incident, which occurred just before 2 p.m.

Principle Business Enterprises, which is off I-75 at Devil's Hole Road in Wood County's Middleton Township north of Bowling Green, manufactures adult incontinence products.
