FINDLAY Low-income households in northwest Ohio could be eligible for low-interest loans to help with home repairs through the U.S. Department of Agriculture s Rural Development office. The 1 percent, fixed-rate loans may be used to repair or replace a furnace or roof; install insulation, storm windows, or replacement windows, or do other improvement projects.
For information on income eligibility, go to www.rurdev.usda.gov. The Findlay area office handles applications for 25 northwest Ohio counties.
