An East Toledo man was hurt seriously Wednesday when his motorcycle collided with a car in the 500 block of East Broadway, police said.
Jerome Pierce, Sr., 45, of 2506 York St. was in critical condition in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
The car driver, Alexander Murray, 19, of 1310 Ellis St. was treated at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. His passenger, Quentin Spencer, 24, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, was not hurt, police said.
Mr. Pierce was northbound on East Broadway as Mr. Murray pulled out on Mr. Pierce s right side from a private driveway about 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, and the vehicles collided. Mr. Pierce was thrown from the motorcycle, and the car spun around. Mr. Pierce was not wearing a helmet, police said.
