Hamler man injured as motorcycle strikes dog

HAMLER, Ohio A Hamler man was hurt yesterday when he struck a dog with his motorcycle on a rural road east of here yesterday, Henry County sheriff s officials said.

Lee Powers, 41, was flown to Medical University of Ohio Medical Center. His condition was not available.

Mr. Powers was traveling on State Rt. 18, just east of State Rt. 109 in Marion Township about 5:30 p.m. when he struck the animal and was thrown from his bike, the sheriff s office said.
