FREMONT The city of Fremont has lifted its nitrate advisory that has been in effect since May 17.
The advisory warned against giving city water to infants under 6 months old or using it in making infant formula or juice.
Nitrates, which stem from farm-chemical runoff, can pose health problems for infants or nursing mothers.
