Through traffic closed on Benore Road between Stickney and Detroit avenues

Railroad crossing repairs will close part of Benore Road for four days, starting this morning, Toledo's transportation division announced.

At 9 a.m., Benore will close at the Norfolk Southern tracks near Stickney Avenue, closing the street to through traffic between Stickney and Detroit avenues. A posted detour will use Stickney, Matzinger Road, and Detroit. Alexis Road between Benore and Detroit is an alternative to the posted detour for most vehicles.
