SANDUSKY A Castalia, Ohio, teenager who was seriously hurt Monday when a car in which she was a passenger collided with a pickup on U.S. 6 just west of Sandusky has died, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
Four others were also hurt, authorities said.
Lauren M. Rogers, 17, died at 5:44 p.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, troopers said.
The accident occurred about 4:25 p.m. Troopers said the car was eastbound on U.S. 6 when the driver lost control on a curve and slid into the westbound lane, where it was hit by the pickup and struck a pole.
Troopers with the Sandusky post of the OHP said the crash remains under investigation.
