HAMLER, Ohio A Napoleon man died yesterday after a truck he was driving went off State Rt. 109 and overturned in a ditch just south of Hamler.
Hansford McGladdery, 79, was pronounced dead at University Medical Center, Toledo.
According to Henry County Sheriff s deputies, Mr. McGladdery was northbound on Route 109 about 10:35 a.m. when he drifted off the right side of the road, overcorrected, then went off the left side of the road. The tires of the flatbed truck he was driving for Wauseon Machine caught in the grass, deputies said, causing the truck to overturn onto its top in the bottom of a deep ditch. Mr. McGladdery was wearing a seat belt.
