FINDLAY - As part of its 2007 community reads program, Findlay will host three events this week with Catherine Ryan Hyde, author of this year's featured book, Pay it Forward.
The book tells the story of a young boy whose class is asked to come up with a plan that could change the world for the better.
Ms. Hyde will be part of a panel discussion on ethical issues raised in the book from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday at the University of Findlay's Peiffer Lecture Hall in the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion.
On Saturday, she will host a discussion at Coffee Amici, 328 South Main St., at 10 a.m. Then at 2 p.m., Ms. Hyde will speak and sign books at Findlay High School's Heminger Auditorium.
All events are free and open to the public.
