Emergency sewer repairs will close a section of East Broadway in East Toledo for five days and part of Key Street in Maumee for up to two weeks, authorities said.
East Broadway between Nevada Street and Greenwood Avenue was closed yesterday for an emergency sewer repair and is expected to be reopened Monday.
Nevada, which had been closed for sewer repairs between Plymouth Street and White since 9 a.m. Wednesday, was reopened yesterday, a day earlier than planned.
In Maumee, city sewer crews have discovered a sewer cave-in on Key, north of River Road.
For safety reasons, Key between River Road and the Anthony Wayne Trail was closed immediately Wednesday for sewer repairs that are expected to be completed within two weeks.
