Repairs on concrete to shut part of U.S. 23

Concrete pavement repairs will close a section of the right lane of northbound U.S. 23 in Whiteford Township for about two weeks, starting tomorrow, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced.

Concrete slabs between Exit 1 (Sterns Road) and Exit 5 (U.S. 223) will be raised and sealed to repair unevenness. The lane closing is likely to cause traffic delays during peak travel times.
