Bowling Green

t Royal Treatment Children's Tea, 7 p.m. June 14 at the Wood County Historical Center and Museum, County Home Road. Interactive crafts and activities, light refreshments, aromatic tea, sponsored by the new child care center in the Heritage Inn in Bowling Green. •Foodways Film Series at the Wood County District Public Library: June 14, Big Night at 6:30 p.m. focuses on 2 Italian restaurants. June 28: Uncorked at 6:30 p.m. focuses on food and wine as art. Brief discussion by Nathan Crook at the end of each film.

•"Mysteries: Why We Write Them, Read Them, and Love Them," 7 p.m. June 20, Wood County Public Library, 251 North Main St. A conversation with Ohio mystery writers D.B. Borton, Jeffrey Marks, and Sally Wright. Books will be available for purchase and autographs. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

•Horizon Youth theatre auditions for the play, Wiley and the Hairy Man, 4:30 p.m. June 19 and 20 at the Wooster Center, 124 East Wooster St. across from Rodgers Quadrangle. Open to any youth ages 9-18. Scripts available for perusal at the Wood County Library's information desk.
