Sylvania s Main Street bridge closed for 2 days

Utility work will close the Main Street bridge over Ten Mile Creek in Sylvania to traffic today and tomorrow, the Sylvania Department of Public Service announced.

Starting at 7 a.m. today, Toledo Edison will begin relocating poles and lines at both ends of the bridge.

The work is to be completed tomorrow.

Traffic will be detoured via Brint and Harroun roads and Monroe Street.

Access to businesses north of the bridge will be available from Monroe.

After the utility work is finished, Main will remain restricted to northbound traffic only for bridge rehabilitation, as it was before the utility work.
