FREMONT The former director of the Sandusky County Economic Development Corp. has been rehired in that capacity to replace Wes Fahrbach, who resigned last month to accept a staff position with U.S. Sen. George Voinovich (R., Ohio).
Kay Reiter was rehired Wednesday as the new director of the nonprofit corporation. She ll begin Aug. 20.
Ms. Reiter left the development corporation in November, 2005, after almost three years as its director to become the director of the Fremont Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Before joining the economic development agency, she was director of the Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce.
