Toledo boy, 15, dies after being pulled from Bettsville Quarry

BETTSVILLE, Ohio A 15- year-old Toledo boy died about 7 last night after being rescued from Bettsville Quarry, Seneca County sheriff s deputies said.

The boy s name was not released because all of his family had not been notified, deputies said.

The boy was taken from the onetime quarry, which has a swimming area, to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

He was at the quarry in Eells Park with family members. Bettsville is about 35 miles southeast of Toledo
