BOWLING GREEN Wood County sheriff s deputies will be working overtime Aug. 17 to Sept. 3 looking for impaired drivers, enforcing traffic laws, and monitoring speed and seat belt violations.
The sheriff s office received a $39,665 grant through the Ohio Department of Public Safety to work the extra hours, which is being done in conjunction with a national alcohol mobilization, Deputy Sandy Wiechman said.
