The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department will hold its annual low-cost rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats this morning from 10 a.m. to noon at the Erie Street Market.
During the event, which marks World Rabies Day, pets will be vaccinated by licensed veterinarians for $5 each.
Rabies is an incurable infectious virus that affects the nervous system of humans and other mammals.
