Membership not needed to use Findlay dog park

FINDLAY Dog owners no longer will be required to buy membership permits to use the K-9 Field of Dreams Dog Park at Riverbend Recreation Area.

Beginning Jan. 1, permits will not be required at the one-acre, off-leash park, which opened in 2001.

Park officials said they were eliminating the membership requirement in an effort to control administrative costs in handling the permits.

Other rules and regulations will continue to be in effect at the park, which is open every day of the year from dawn to dark.
