Railroad conductor hurt when tractor trailer collides with train

A CSX railroad conductor was seriously hurt Tuesday morning when a tractor trailer collided with the train in Cedar Business Park just before 1 a.m., the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Joseph Lisk, 55, of Toledo, was airlifted to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. His condition was not immediately available.

A semi truck driven by Steven Slusser, 32, of Alliance, Ohio, was northbound on Cedar Park Boulevard, south of State Rt. 795, when he struck the eastbound train.

Mr. Lisk was standing on the back of the train when the low-speed collision occurred.

The crash remains under investigation.
