Monroe, Mich. A dead body washed ashore near Detroit Edison s Fermi 2 nuclear power plant early Tuesday, according to Michigan State Police.
The body was discovered about 8:50 a.m.
The gender, identity, and cause of death were unknown as of 2 p.m., police said.
The body appeared to be that of an adult who had been dead for some time, officers said.
