This weekend marks 50 years in Ohio for the Nature Conservancy.
The group claims to have almost 30,000 Ohio-based members among its million-plus members worldwide in more than 30 countries. It has a local office and owns the Kitty Todd Preserve in western Lucas County.
Its Ohio chapter was chartered on May 24, 1958.
