Two people were hurt, one seriously, when a car and a sport utility vehicle collided early yesterday at Fulton County Road 16 and U.S. 20-A near Wauseon, the Ohio Highway Patrol s post in Toledo said.

Troopers said Mary Frank, 61, of Wauseon, who drove a car north on County Road 16, had head injuries and was airlifted to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital. She was listed in serious condition last night, a hospital spokesman said.

Heather Harris, 38, who drove the sport utility vehicle east on U.S. 20-A, received minor injuries and refused medical treatment, according to troopers, who said they did not have her address.

The crash occurred about 6:50 a.m. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, troopers said.
