Fiscal skills for women taught in Ohio workshops

A July 11 conference organized by Ohio Treasurer Richard Cordray will focus on educating women about fiscal matters.

Workshops to be offered will include elder care, children and money, entrepreneurship, credit and debt, Social Security, home ownership, and budgeting.

Eleven conferences will be held around Ohio, each of which will consist of an opening session, workshops, lunch, and a motivational speaker.

The Toledo-area conference will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 11 at Sylvania Southview High School, 7225 Sylvania Ave.

Registration is required and can be done online at www.yourmoneynowonline.org or by calling 1-800-228-1102.
